Still Trying To Learn Manual
September 25, 2008
Well, it’s been over a month and my images are still coming out blurry on full manual.
I can shoot on shutter priority well enough. I can even shoot in aperture priority a little better than before.
I just can’t get them to work together. I also keep forgetting about the ISO setting. I spent 2 hours taking pictures only to find that I had my ISO on 800. That was 2 hours down the drain.
Back to the drawing board!

Aradia says,
I have found for manual that setting the aperture, and then switching to manual and fussing with the shutter speed there to resolve this sort of issue for myself. I actually started using a checklist before I shoot so I don’t forget to change ISO.
I don’t use the checklist, as I am better at remember ing it at this point, but it helped me out until I kept it in the forefront when changing settings :-)
Good Luck to you!!
